Galalite has been manufacturing cinema screens in India since 1959. Known as the leader in cinema screen technology, Galalite has collaborated with many international film festivals like Protaras in Cyprus, Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema in Singapore, and Dunkirk in Venice, securing a global presence. This year marked a significant milestone as Galalite ventured into sponsoring screens for the International Film Festival in India.
IFFI is an annual event organized by the Government of India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in collaboration with the state government of Goa. IFFI is one of Asia’s most significant film festivals and showcases a diverse range of films, including feature films, short films, and documentaries, from around the world. The festival aims to promote international cooperation in cinema and provide a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work to a global audience.
Galalite sponsored the 54th International Film Festival of India, contributing its two cutting-edge screens – the Mirage 2.2 and Digilite 2.2. These state-of-the-art screens played a pivotal role in enhancing the festival’s visual experience, aligning seamlessly with Galalite’s commitment to providing unparalleled cinematic experience. The sponsorship underscored Galalite’s dedication to supporting and enriching the film festival landscape.
Galalite’s very own Lensray Technology reduces the speckle on the screen. Lensray Technology helps in dispersing the projector’s light evenly on the screen. The company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of visual excellence has made it a trailblazer in the industry, setting new standards for movie-watching.
Siranush Whyte, General Manager at Galalite, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We were excited to watch the movies with the audience! We are grateful to IFFI for the collaboration; the life-like visuals during the festival truly seemed like a work of art to the audience.”
Galalite extends heartfelt gratitude to the International Film Festival of India for providing the platform to contribute to the celebration of cinema. As Galalite continues to evolve, it remains dedicated to crafting screens that not only display movies but bring them to life.
